I am an undegraduate studying engineering at the university of Cambridge which has given me a very strong grasp of subjects i tutor in. Having achieved 4 A*s in my A-levels, I am also well equipped to advise on exam technique and revision methods. My lessons are always personalised to address individual students strengths/weakness and preferred learning style but typically include working with the student on an online whiteboard, this allows me to quickly adress misconceptions and add further explanation where needed. Often I will work with the student to answer exam style questions, providing assistance as needed. This is an effective way to build confidence and competence. It is helpful if the student can send a recent mock/exam paper they've completed or a list of specifc topics they wish to focus on. This lets me prepare specifc resources to aid the students learning.
