I have a BSc in Physics from York university, working towards my masters by research. I achieved A*-A grades in Further Maths, Physics, Maths and Chemistry at A-Level, and A*-A grades in Maths, English, Science, Geography, French, Religious Studies and Art at GCSE. I taught myself A-level Further Maths in a year.
Far more than memorising facts, my aim as a tutor is to ensure students fully comprehend the underlying principles of their subject and the expectation from the examiners as to how their arguments should be laid out. To succeed in examinations an understanding of the construction of the questions and your answers is as important as an understanding of the subject.
