Hello, my name is Ellie and I have recently graduated with a 1st class Masters in Chemistry from the University of Southampton. I am a personable, enthusiastic individual who is keen to tutor students of all ages. I am currently completing my PhD in Chemistry at the University of St Andrews. I have been involved in tutoring schemes helping younger students at both college and university. In the last year of my degree I taught an after school class for secondary school children based around the chemistry of forensic science. As well as this I have volunteered at the Science & Engineering days held by the University of Southampton where my role was to show young children (aged 6-12) how to grow a crystal garden and to explain the chemistry behind it.
