Firstly, let me introduce myself! My name is Jo and I am a teacher who lives in Prescot. I have a family of 4 girls and a partner who is very patient with us all! I'm now in a position to take on tutees who are ready for their next step in education.
Having taught the Primary and SEN curriculum, I understand the necessity to instill confidence and a love of learning into pupils. With an adaptive approch to learning, I feel that I am best suited to learners who maybe lack confidence in their subject area. As a tutor, I aim for all of my pupils to leave their sessions feeling like fearless learners who are proud of their achievements.
I have taught in KS1 and KS2 mainstream classes, SEN specialist provision and over this past academic year I have been delivering the National Tutor Programme in the form of KS3/4 nurture intervention.
