I am a very experienced secondary school English and History teacher, over the past twenty years I have worked in a variety of schools in the West Midlands area. I held a senior Assistant Principal role in my most recent school.

I enjoy positive working relationships with pupils and have a calm and supportive approach. I am able to identify quickly areas individual pupils need to work on and can then design a bespoke programme to help pupils progress rapidly. I have high expectations of all pupils that I work with and set challenging yet rewarding work for them to complete. I provide regular homework tasks as well as frequent feedback to parents.

I specialise in GCSE English Language and Literature, and have expertise in examination set texts.
