Enthusiastic and qualified GCSE and 11-plus Maths Tutor
Having attained an A* in GCSE maths a few years ago, I am familiar with how the new specification works. I have had a strong passion for Maths from a young age. I attended the Portsmouth Grammar School, and thus have experience with the 11-plus and 13-plus entrance exams. I have previously trained pupils with entrance exams, to success. Whilst at the Portsmouth Grammar School, I was a 'Maths Ambassador', meaning I regularly tutored the pupils in the Senior School. It filled me with great pleasure to see pupils that I tutored improve their mathematical ability, and achieve their goals. Since then, I have gained a strong interest in tutoring. I take an engaging and enthusiastic approach to teaching, and promise to bring the best out of each pupil.
