I am finishing my History and Politics degree at Queen Mary University of London, specialising in modern British political history. I am doing my PGCE in Primary Education at UCL next year.

I have significant experience in tutoring students in primary school privately with over 350 hours of 1 on 1 tutoring completed. I am able to tailor my approach to each child and their individual needs, whether they need pushing further or helping to catch up. Additionally, my mother is a primary school teacher and this gives me access to a significant amount of resources.Throughout lockdown, I have been tutored a number of children which has taught me how best to teach over Zoom or FaceTime. I also have a child-centred approach to tutoring, believing that building a relationship with the child is fundamental to them making progress. I pride myself in inspiring confidence in my tutees.

I have studied both English GCSEs and English Literature A level. I am also studying History at university which has enabled me to develop my writing style and my critical eye further. I also have experience in running the Creative Writing scheme with another tutoring company so have experience in planning and delivering a wide range of English lessons.
