My Educational Background comprise of BSc Honours in Mathematics and Statistics from Open University. I also hold degree in Bachelors of Commerce. In 2018. I started my Masters Degree in Mathematical Education at the UEA, but could not complete it because I suffered some medical complications at my son’s birth. I managed to achieve 40 credits in that course. This passion of mine to become a teacher is based on my personal school life experiences. I was not lucky enough to find good teachers in my secondary school and so I fully understand the importance of good teachers to deliver mathematical concepts using good techniques and methods, so that children can absorb them quickly and easily.

Also, being a mother of a five year old, I have experience of teaching her basic mathematical concepts. I always try my best to understand the learning ability of children and to use good explanations to help them understand and to use simple methods. I am very passionate about learning and that is why I always had good grades in secondary school. I do understand that if I want to pursue a career in teaching, I need to equip myself with the essential and up to date, professional skills in teaching, so that I would be able to play my role in the learning processes of young children. As teachers are considered the foundation of any society, I fully believe they should be trained at the highest standard, so that they can deliver the expected results.
I have not had a formal role in education, but I used to teach science subjects and mathematics to my cousins and my siblings. They gained very good marks in those subjects and according to them I am very good at teaching.
