About Sanjidha K
GCSE English & History, A-levels Sociology.
Learning Macroeconomics has allowed me to obtain a holistic view of the world economy; I am able to assess different viewpoints and come to a reasonable decision with thorough analysis and evaluation. This is because I am updated with the news revolving around economic behaviour and how it’s affecting the modern world. Studying the education topic in Sociology, I’ve learnt of a similarity between countries regarding education system, which is that they strive for success at the expense of the working-class. This is because they have less cultural capital to attain successful education, at least according to Marxists. Also, I have learnt about the postmodern society where we have evolved from modern society - the era of scientology and industrialisation to the era of globalisation. Postmodernists argue that the society has been affected greatly by the increasing interconnectedness of people across nationally, e.g. through development of technological changes. This is where economic activities have taken place within a set of global networks by creating a ‘weightless’/electrical economy. This made significant changes in our lives as we are now in time-compression period. Due to my high understanding of this, I am able to provide high quality essays; contribute to the class discussions which increases my networking skills. I also have taken interests in what is happening around the world socially. Studying English Literature also provided skills to think critically where we use critical interpretations in the essay to produce a different perspective. Due to this, I am able to provide analytical essays that demonstrate my methodological approach.
Outside of my academic environment, I have a passion rooted in teaching younger students who require assistance in English. This is where they needed help in writing creative and excellent essays through creative process. This has allowed me to be responsible for my learning; committed to my students’ success; thriving for their positive outcome. I have also attained skills such as time-keeping, cultural awareness enabling me to understand how children learn in different ways.
This is why I believe that I am ideal for this job role and will be successful in executing my duties.
