About Iga K
Spanish, Polish and English tutor (different levels)
My method:
I conduct my classes in a way that enables students to develop all their language skills, which are speaking, writing, listeining and reading, as much as possible and I am going to incorporate some practice of each of them to every session.
My background and experience:
In high school, I stadied Spanish not only on traditional language classes, but also had subjects like Literature, History and Geography of Spain with native teachers. Apart from that, I took part in a number of projects requiring from me a lot more than basic language skills like drama and video projects.
My experience incluedes numerous activities connected with languages such as :
-performing in a play in Spanish : “La Zapatera Prodigiosa” by Federico García Lorca and a few videos for competitions and other purposes (both in English and
Spanish)
-helping with small translations of texts (from a foreign language to Polish and vice versa)
-making workshops for children between seven and ten years old
-giving particular classes to other students
-taking part in various competitions, which included both making content and preseting it in Spanish.
My education:
In April 2018 I graduated from high school, where I studied in a Spanish bilingual class.
Now, I am doing my first year of International Relations with Languages at London Metropolitan University. My course includes Arabic and French modules.
My qualifications:
Apart from a Polish high school diploma, I also possess a Spanish Título de Bachiller.
My interests:
I am keen on such areas of art as : theatre, film and music. I also love travelling, getting to know new people, cultures and learning foreign languages.
